January Update

We started our year with a moment of insanity! On January 1st, we drove out to the Animal Shelter---just to look. We came home with Lily about an hour later. She is a four-month old Lab mix. John is getting to break out one of his favorite Christmas gifts frequently...The SHAMWOW! Tessa acclimated quickly to her new sister. We are pretty sure that Tessa thinks Lily is her own personal chew toy.

On January 5th, John was officially accepted into the University of New Mexico! He transferred over on the 19th and has been buried in the books ever since :) He is a very dedicated student...it makes me feel just a tad guilty that I wasn't quite so focused when I was in school.

Between work and school, we have been pretty busy. We did take time out to enjoy the Super Bowl (and the commercials) with our neighbors. We totally dug the Bruce Springsteen floor slide into the camera!
