March Update

The Clem's have learned you don't have to be a student (or a teacher) to have a Spring Break--- Although, John actually gets a Spring Break for a few more years! The Wade family has started getting a condo in Durango for Spring Break since both my parents are teachers. This year my sister and George had to skip out since they were both saving vacation for their Honeymoon (Choosing Italy over Durango...fools!), but that didn't stop John and I from a little Spring Breaking of our own.

My dad and John did some skiing while my mom and I did some shopping! Between naps and dominoes, we did some sightseeing including Mesa Verde National Park, which is an archaeological (big word) site of Ancestral Puebloans cliff dwellings. The pictures of this park truly do not do this place justice. It was amazing. Below are some of our favorite pics from the week of R&R.

Although John and my dad made it back from the ski trip injury free, Lily was not so lucky. Our little diva broke her nail at the kennel so we spent the first day back in Albuquerque at the Emergency Veterinarian Clinic having her nail removed. Here are some pics of Lily and Dr. Clem.

At the end of March, we had a real grown up date where we actually dressed up and did the whole shebang. We had dinner at this little winery in Old Town that has such great food with a little New Mexican flair. Then we headed over to see Mama Mia...which we both loved! It was so fun including all the spandex!

That is about it for our March adventures. Everything else is going great here with school and work especially after a few days off!
